Repeat within constraints, never the same sequence twice

Repetition is essential in building any skill. However, an important choice NoSheet makes is that you learn by repeating within constraints, but you do not repeat the same exact sequences over and over again. NoSheet randomizes what you try to pick within some noteset, requiring you to keep your ears engaged to decide what to pick, and that is different every time. You build the skill to string together notes intentionally, without biasing yourself to certain sequences and sounds simply because you have practiced them endlessly on your pursuit to better technique. This approach forces you to be equally capable of producing any sequence, enabling you to guide your playing by the sound you want to create, not the muscle memory of mindless practice sessions.
